February’s Elimination Chamber pay per view will apparently have the first women’s Elimination Chamber. According to a tweet from T-Mobile Arena, it implied that this will be happening in the coming weeks. The Raw event will happen February 25 in Paradise, Nevada, with the kickoff show starting at 7PM EST. The Women’s Elimination Match is reputed to feature Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose according to rumors.

Return of The Boss

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bobby Lashley will return to WWE. It’s rumored that he would be involved in a feud with Brock Lesnar after WrestleMania 34 but that’s unconfirmed.

Y2J to return

According to a report from Inside The Ropes, Chris Jericho is slated to return to the WWE in or before the month of May.

Mixed Match Challenge in trouble?

WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge is floundering. Ratings have steadily declined weekly and key people are souring on the concept according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The Miz’s daughter due date

Maryse and The Miz’s daughter is due April 6, two days before WrestleMania 34. Not surprisingly, the couple may miss the annual spectacular.

 

Drew McIntyre Hall of Fame Induction

NXT’s Drew McIntyre will be inducted into Insane Crazy Wrestling’s (ICW) Hall of Fame on February 12. Drew had a very successful run in ICW before returning to the WWE. Drew is still recovering from a biceps injury suffered during NXT Takeover: WarGames this past November.

NXT to get Jeremy Borash

WWE signed Jeremy Borash according to report from Mike Johnston of PWInsider. Jeremy was a longtime member of Impact Wrestling’s announcing team and is expected to join the announcing team on NXT according to Dave Meltzer.

Alicia Fox status

Alicia Fox missed the Royal Rumble due to a broken tailbone and is expected to be out for several months. She suffered the injury during training for the Rumble. She will also be out of the Mixed Match Challenge.

Ronda Rousey plans

Ronda Rousey made her rumored debut at this past Sunday’s Royal Rumble and is rumored to set up for a feud that will culminated in a mixed tag match involving her and an undetermined partner against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon Helmsley at WrestleMania 34 according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter. She has also filed to trademark the name “Rowdy Ronda Rousey” and has signed a seven year contract. Ronda hasn’t ruled out a return to MMA.

Phoenix to get the next Royal Rumble

Phoenix, Arizona will be site for the 2019 Royal Rumble.
