Week Three NFL Power Rankings

20. Los Angeles Rams (1-1, Last Week: 18)

L.A. lost a tough one in Washington last Sunday. They couldn’t keep Cousins and that offense in check, the team was just out of reach. To say the least, the Rams have heavily improved from what they were last season.

19. New York Giants (0-2, Last Week: 9)

This looks like no fluke for the downfall of the Giants. Being picked on is the offensive line and QB Eli Manning. For a team who did so well last season, they’re now disappointing fans. Although it is possible they can bounce-back for a team with such talent, they’re in a hole though as they travel to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles.

18. Washington Redskins (1-1, Last Week: 23)

After a tough week one loss, the Redskins bounced back to a good win over the Rams. Chris Thompson was the highlight of the team last weekend as he rushed for 77 yards on three carries, also putting in two touchdowns.

17. Miami Dolphins (1-0, Last Week: 17)

In a very close game, the Dolphins squeaked out with a W after their week one bye. Jay Cutler shut some of the haters up by playing a very nice game in his debut. For Miami, the defense looked suspect when the Chargers passed the ball. Philip Rivers threw for 331 yards on a 80% completion rating. The Dolphins look to start 2-0 as they take on the lowly Jets in week three.

16. Philadelphia Eagles (1-1, Last Week: 12)

Philadelphia didn’t play awfully against the Chiefs. They just didn’t make enough plays on defense to stop them and the offensive line didn’t give Wentz enough time for the play to develop on many of the teams offensive plays. Now the Eagles can bounce back to winning form as they take on the struggling Giants next week.

15. Minnesota Vikings (1-1, Last Week: 14)

After taking a nice beating from Pittsburgh, the Vikings look to get their QB Sam Bradford back, along with a win in week three. Rookie Dalvin Cook has come onto the scene looking like a seasoned veteran thus far. Now they face a test in a Buccaneers team fresh off a very convincing win.

14. Seattle Seahawks (1-1, Last Week: 11)

Seattle just snuck by the 49ers in their home opener. The offense clearly needs to switch things up, they’ve only put 21 points up through two games. Not something you’d like to see out of a team people are considering for NFC Champions. Now the team travels to Tennessee as the Titans look to force the Seahawks offensive woes to continue.

13. Carolina Panthers (2-0, Last Week: 13)

The Panthers barely got past Buffalo in their 9-3 victory. The Panthers have some games they can very well win to start the season with San Francisco, Buffalo and then New Orleans. As long as their defense keeps up, they should be in for a very nice season.

12. Tennessee Titans (1-1, Last Week: 20)

After their rough loss to Oakland, the Titans showed out against Jacksonville in a very offensive game. Hard to critique anything in the game after you post 37 points in a game. Marcus Mariota and Derrick Henry both looked good in a very nicely played game by Tennessee.

11. Baltimore Ravens (2-0, Last Week: 19)

Solidifying themselves at 2-0, the Ravens defense once again played a fantastic game that led their team to victory. Joe Flacco also played well against the Browns. Next the team travels to London to take on the Jaguars.
